So is this the new normal? I managed to find a quiet spot on the common this weekend by the time I left there was a sea of people in the main fields. You wouldn’t guess there was anything wrong. However restaurants are still closed and I have some vouchers I wanted to cash in but a pandemic wasn’t in the T&C’s so are they still valid??

I believe last night was the last clap for the NHS, going forward instead of clapping I think we should just be more grateful and remember how lucky we are that the system exists. I watched a video about how much health care costs in America and I was shocked it’s insane! So thank you.

My package came!!! I know you all care so much. Today I have a positively fierce manicure…on one hand. I’m starting a trend. Also just so you know we are accepting reusable cups because, well, the destruction of the environment will kill us faster than COVID! #leangreenkillingmachine
Salads of the day:
Paprika white bean with aubergine

I’ve been anticipating a package for a month now. I stare out the window everyday hoping Royal Mail will request a signature, and a box will be handed to me. What is it i’m waiting for? A polygel nail kit. While some paint, knit, sew or read I like to spend my time doing nails. I find it therapeutic don’t judge until you tried it.

I had a lovely weekend but I did get sun-burn so I look like a clown! There was outrage about this Dominic Cummings fella, what do you think? I’m split personally because in reality everyone has been a hypocrite at one point in their life.

Typical. The weekend I decide I want to sit in the park with my dog and a few beers the weather turns. Lucky I don’t believe in coincidences. Sorry all, but we will be closed on the bank holiday Monday so you will have to cook for yourselves, don’t worry Jamie Oliver has plenty cookbooks!

If there isn’t a spike in the next 2 weeks I will get really suspicious because there is NO social distancing happening. People may as well be sharing straws at this point... I’m not a conspiracy theorist and I’m not a scientist but this global lock down doesn’t sit well with me.

Sometimes I sit and contemplate the world today, we’re told about strong economies, ecological changes and solid infrastructure. It all seems a bit of a myth right now. Something’s not right I can’t put my finger on it. Would you take the vaccine?

Hello fans, so sorry for the late post today I lost track of time (haven’t we all) I’ve had a couple customers ask what I made of the Boris Johnson speech. I didn’t watch it. Why would I? I didn’t vote for him. #notmypresident. Here’s my update: nothing has changed, there’s still a pandemic and we have PPE… Pasta, potatoes and eggs.

Salads of the day: Rice noodle salad with five spice tofu · Rainbow rice · chicken + chorizo pasta
Well the weather’s changed!! I had a great bank holiday weekend, watching classic movies and trash telly and there is no guilty watching while in lockdown because there’s nothing else to do!! Soup of the day: Sweet potato + lentils with harissa + cumin
Salads of the day: Paprika beans with red peppers · Asparagus pesto pasta (contains cashews)
I made to the end of another week it’s been 45 days of ‘lockdown’. It’s going to be a sunny weekend, I feel like I should remind you all to stay safe.. remember to wear sun screen!! Ha! what am I like eh? The song that comes to mind for today is Everybody’s Free by Baz Luhrmann.
Soup of the day: Velvet aubergine

I wake up at 6:30am everyday. In Winter it’s hard waking up to darkness but in Summer I find I wake up and I jump out of bed humming Hall & Oats You Making My Dreams. If you wake up and you feel a dark cloud over your head I suggest you use this method to make yourself feel better. This is not a definite cure… I am not a doctor.

This weekend was bliss, for me the weather was perfect! I decided to take my dog on an 8 mile walk through the back roads in Chelsea, Knightsbridge and South Ken. What is usually a tourist hot-spot was eerily quiet. So when I say ‘i’m loving lockdown’ i’s for moments like that which I will never again get to experience. You know what I mean?
