Day 135 A new leaf

What a Lovely Friday it’s been so far. It;s been such a lovely Friday that i’m going to attempt to keep my sarcasm to a minimum and my pessimism will take a back seat. The dog and I went on a night time trek yesterday and the center of London is like a ghost town, this feeling was amplified my the heavy fog. I love winter.

Morning all, yesterday was emotionally draining. I’m happy it’s a new day but then there’s the uncertainty of this lockdown to now look forward to . Hey ho, at least 2020 isn’t boring i’ll give it that. If you find yourself climbing the walls at home on day 1 of 30 then come on in for some light entertainment. Lot’s of love, North St.

Trying to make the most out of the gym before it closes has done the body bad! Ya girl is soar. I got caught in the downpour this morning too, so all in all it’s been a bad start! Hopefully it will get better but I highly doubt, I don’t know why but the general population seem to be in a bad mood I couldn’t guess why…

Veggie curry with parsnip + brown lentil

Lightly spiced coconut rice

Leek · roast olive + tomato pasta

Day 131 We will remain

Don’t worry my little lambs, the deli will remain OPEN! My scientific advisers have informed me that if the deli closes the Clapham population will in fact loose their minds. With that information it is with great joy that I can tell you I will still be waking up at 5:30am to make coffee and serve salads…yay.

Day 127 You're not ready

Corona, we all know her. She’s in all our lives in many different forms. What if I told you she won’t be coming to a West End stage near you…because she’s her own worst enemy? Confused? That’s understandable, but we’re creating something other than food at the deli…a musical. #yourewelcome

You can find Tapas all over London now, but Brindisa has stood the test of time and after trying it myself (instead of listening to a customers review) I know why.

Day 125 Following the rules

What a s**t show 2020 has turned out to be. I didn’t expect it to be better than any other year but this is so bad you just got to laugh! I didn’t think that when asking my mates if they wanted to go out for dinner that they would question whether we should because of government guidelines. Imagine as a teenager, ‘hey wanna get drunk this weekend?’ ‘we can’t we’re under 18!’ Never happened.

I’m not on drugs, the dog is. He’s in the cone of shame but he’s doing fine. Anyway..

As you know, the deli is inspirational and provides inspiration. My favourite Hungarian came in this morning, made love to her porridge and then presented me with a proposition to do a little exhibition in the back room. Art, food, culture is there nothing the deli can’t do?

Day 121 Loving a Monday

OMG i’m so quirky I love a Monday, Look at me…What’s wrong with Monday’s? I’m pretty sure i’ve had this rant before but ‘it’s Monday’ is not a reason to have the face of a smacked arse. Treat it like ‘new week new me’ and be happy, because it’s probably all down hill from here. #happymonday?

As I write this i’m struggling to see because I just looked at something super bright…my future. I joke, but I did hurt my eyes. Sandwich of the day: Cumberland sausage, Cheddar cheese, Branston pickle + tomato

Day 114 I got the power

I’m quite a personality, some love me some hate me. However if you express your hatred for me to my face you then run the risk of never again having a £1.50 flat white in central London. So ask yourself is it truly worth it? I don’t think it’s worth it personally but i’m biased!
