Why were there so many men wearing kilts in Soho last night? Not sure but shout out to the guy who brought his bagpipes out with him…vibes. Went out for cocktails after dinner, we were sat at our table told not to socialise with anyone that wasn’t in our group and we couldn’t get up unless going to the toilet. cool.

Last night was a little disappointing between Galvin La Chapelle and EATALY I was just underwhelmed! I felt La Chapelle lacked wow factor but the surroundings were beautiful. EATALY was a little pricey. With import tax and waste i’m sure the prices are justifiable but Italian food is suppose to be deliciously inexpensive in my mind… you live and learn.

Inevitably our mother was very democratic when giving her critic but that’s just because she fears showing favouritism. My brother flash fried his peach and apple mix in a pan with a little Szechuan pepper and his crumble had a little cardamom and almond in it. My crumble had some oats and I massaged some Masala wine, ginger and lemon zest into my plum and cherry filling. At the end of the day we had crumble and ice cream for dinner so there are no losers…other than my brother, because I won.
