Day 321 I am not one of them

Finally some weather that kind of feels like summer. I was out all weekend. One of my highlights was Moose and I in Richmond park, I was on my bike and he was trotting along beside me. It was gangster. I vowed one thing when I bought a bike… I will not be one of those lycra cyclists that think everyday is tour de France.

Edamame + crispy shallot rice

Chicken + Beef ragu pasta

Thai curry

Soup: Cream of brassicas

Day 320 How to train your collie

Last night proved how important service is in a restaurant, the food was decent but there was no passion. This weekend I intend to teach moose how to run with a bike. He’s a very competitive boy, it took me a while to teach him that when I’m jogging I don’t want him to chase me and bite my ankles.

Thai spiced mung bean

Miso rice

Roast vegetable ragu pasta

Sandwich: Spicy salame, Fontina cheese, Onion relish + tomato

35 minutes late, great start. Tonight Mother and I are hitting the town, we need it. You might be surprised to know but I like hanging out with my Mother we swear at each other a lot and it might look like we despise one other but there’s a lot of love there.

Salads:

Me and the voices in my head thought it would be a good idea to go on a bike ride last night. It started pouring down on my journey. It was actually weirdly fun. I imagined myself in an action movie racing against a timer. The rain was pounding down flattening my curls and I blasted insomnia by Faithless then sandstorm by Darude. I’d make a great action hero.

Day 316 Morning thoughts

There’s always less people on the streets when it’s raining. This morning I didn’t see anyone on my way to work it felt like an apocalypse had taken place. I think i’d survive an apocalypse though I don’t know why you’d want to everyone you know, love and even hate would be gone.

I’d like to remind everyone that it is August. You might have forgotten because of the miserable weather, also the first half of this year has flown by so fast you might have lost track.
