Day 148 I need caffeine

Well i’m tired this morning, not sure why. It’s not like I had some huge party yesterday and pulled an all nighter! I did however make my risotto and my mother agreed my risotto making is now as good as hers, great success!

Day 147 Dinner

I got through fazes of favourite meals of the day, right now I love dinner. Tonight i’m doing a prosecco and truffle risotto with a wild mushroom medley on top. No i have not been watching masterchef, I live with a masterchef. #privilege

Day 146 Buzzing

A new week, and i’m buzzing. I had a very wholesome weekend, I watched The Crown and walked the dog in Holland Park. He’s having his stiches out today so he won’t look so scary! I’ve spent the morning making lemon curd for a friend because she had a ‘lemon curd emergency’ didn’t know that was a thing!

Day 145 It's cold

If your nervous system is working well you will know that it is cold outside I think it’s quite mild personally, but i am a cold blooded animal. I’m very excited at the thought of having Chinese food for dinner tonight, how luxurious is life today eh?

Day 143 Question everything

I ask a lot of questions, i always have. I don’t mean anything bad by it, I was just always encouraged to question everything. There have been times when this has bitten me in the butt however for the most part I think it makes me more interesting and over time it’s made me more knowledgeable. What i’m trying to say is…I’m now a genius.

Day 142 Dover sole

Last night I had Dover sole with creamy mash potato and a beurre noisette. Home cooking is the best isn’t it? I then feasted my eyes on the TV as Nigella Lawson pranced around her kitchen making tasty delights to tickle her taste buds. She is the definition of food porn. Great entertainment.

Day 141 Oh what a beautiful morning

Half way through November, mince pies are coming soon! I’m starting to feel festive. I had a lovely weekend, yesterday I slept in and then trekked round central London which was surprisingly busy. For many reasons, today is a great Monday!

Day 138 The Village People

I swear North St. could be in a village somewhere. Everyone knows each other here it’s such a small town vibe in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the world! It’s not very child friendly though we much prefer dogs, mainly because I don’t have to fear using profanities in their presence.

Day 137 Lets get political

Question of the day is…would you get a vaccine? I’m not asking if you would be the first lamb to the slaughter, suppose its been ‘tried and tested’ (which we would assume it has been) would you want one? Also fun to see how as soon a Pfizer comes out with a vaccine no one has yet mentioned what they’ve done in the past to ‘cure’ humanity. I think we should just eat more fruit and veg. I don’t know i’m not a doctor.

I was full of joy this weekend after hearing America had voted democrat. I also treated my mother to a three course meal cooked but yours truly and I have to say I think i’m amazing. I’m humble but wow i’m good, unfortunately you all have to settle for Maddalena’s cooking which i guess is okay…

Day 135 A new leaf

What a Lovely Friday it’s been so far. It;s been such a lovely Friday that i’m going to attempt to keep my sarcasm to a minimum and my pessimism will take a back seat. The dog and I went on a night time trek yesterday and the center of London is like a ghost town, this feeling was amplified my the heavy fog. I love winter.

Day 132 Soaked and Soar

Trying to make the most out of the gym before it closes has done the body bad! Ya girl is soar. I got caught in the downpour this morning too, so all in all it’s been a bad start! Hopefully it will get better but I highly doubt, I don’t know why but the general population seem to be in a bad mood I couldn’t guess why…

Don’t worry my little lambs, the deli will remain OPEN! My scientific advisers have informed me that if the deli closes the Clapham population will in fact loose their minds. With that information it is with great joy that I can tell you I will still be waking up at 5:30am to make coffee and serve salads…yay.
