Day 334 Angry smile

I expected to feel like death today and I’m surprisingly chipper, so that’s nice. I have an angry concentration face so I think a lot of people assume I’m always in a bad mood. I just get so absorbed in making salads and doing latte art. Don’t get offended it’s not you it’s me.

Good morning sunshine! Oh wait, there is no sunshine…and it’s now autumn so the chance of sunshine is minimal. It’s fun to watch all the delicate souls come in the morning after filled with regret, aches and pains.

Squash + rosemary rice

Teriyaki tofu noodles

Day 332 Do you have oat milk?

My weekend was great. Dinners out, escape room, a hike in Surrey and too many hours of real housewives. It was bliss. But that happy feeling came to a screeching halt when I found out my oat milk mistakenly went out with a catering order over the weekend. I am a coffee shop in London with no oat milk, how embarrassing!!

It’s one of those days where you want to just curl up into a ball and cry. My bread delivery isn’t here, I have a pile of work to do and it’s cold outside. If I look distant today it’s just because i’m internally screaming hoping this nightmare will come to an end. Lot’s of love.

It’s Mother’s birthday today. She’s 92. Just kidding. She’s the most inspirational person I’ve ever met. She’s stylish, Her skills in a kitchen never cease to amaze me and her insults are painful. Do you ever do online shopping and you’re at the check out looking at your basket and you just stop and think ‘what am I doing? I don’t need this.’ and just close your browser? I do this often. Mainly because I remember it’s all overpriced, mass produced shite that I can get second hand in good condition and at a better price. What a wasteful society.
